Sarah Michelle Geller is most famous for her role as "Buffy" from the tv series 'Buffy - The Vampire Slayer'. In it Geller plays a teenaged girl who is forced to come to terms with the fact that she has special powers that enable her to fight and defeat the forces of darkness, i.e vampires and demons and zombies. All this while she tries to have a normal life at school and she also has to keep her secret from her mother. She is assisted in her quest by her 'Watcher' "Giles" and her close friends "Willow", "Xander", "Cordellia" & "Oz". Matters are even more complicated when she falls in love with a vampire who has turned good, "Angel" who helps her in her fight against the demons who plan to take over the world. The lords of darkness take many shapes - the vampire master, The Mayor - who can be killed only during a special ritual that he performs in order to get more power. The tv series is based on the 1995 hit movie of the same name.

Sarah has also acted in a few movies. The 1998 summer hit "I Know What You Did Last Summer" had Geller play one of four high school graduates who while driving, accidently hit a man and believe that they killed him. They dispose of the body, and go their seperate ways. A year later the four friends recieve threatning letters reminding them of what the did the previous summer. One by one the friends are stalked and attacked. She also got a snall role in another slasher movie - "Scream 2". 1999 saw the release of the romantic comedy "Spellbound", in which she plays a young witch who falls in love with a mortal. The nest year saw the release of "Cruel Intentions", in which Sarah plays a wicked rich girl, 'Carrie'. In the film, Carrie and her step-brother 'Ryan', place a bet that Ryan would not be able to woo a goody two-shoes girl, played by Reese Witherspoon. The bet is for a brand new Porsche.
